Our SESER Handspun Cotton Scarf is a wonderful poetry cloth to company you on any day. It's airy to wear in the summer, yet also warm enough for cooler season.
The simple pattern with its heartwarming color combination of amaranth pink and subtle shade of purple radiates love, warmth and harmony.
The beautiful heritage fabric was made from locally grown cotton, handspun and handwoven by women weavers in Kerek Village, Tuban, East Java.
The scarf was naturally-dyed with sappanwood, symplocos leaf, areca catechu and indigofera tinctoria by Cinta Bumi Artisans in our studio in Kedewatan, Ubud, Bali.
No dangerous chemicals were involved in our natural dyeing process.

EMBRACE THE SLOW PROCESS: IMMERSION DYEING
Immersion dye is a method of coloring fibers by immersing/soaking/dipping the whole or a part of the fibers into a dye bath for certain amount of time. We use tannin-rich plants to make the dyes bond with the fibers well and long-lasting. The magic of nature plays the most vital role in the process, which makes the result of each creation a one-of-a-kind beauty.
